Brimberry House
Oak Forest, Houston, Texas
2,054 Living Sq. Ft. | 3 Bedrooms | 2 Baths
Contractor: Bill Russo
Brimberry House is a renovation and expansion of an existing one-story home in Oak Forest. The project added 815 square feet of living space while completely reworking the existing home.
The design introduced a new primary suite, an expanded kitchen and breakfast area, and a new family room overlooking the backyard. The result is a more spacious and connected home designed around the way the family lives.
I have now worked with Marcelo and Gonzalez Architects twice. Both experiences were of the highest caliber and professionalism. Marcelo's very logical / common sense designs were very complementary to our requirements to ensure a logical flow to two expansion / renovation projects. This partnership brought forth two designs that ensured the older homes flowed well with the additions, while maintaining and respecting the historic homes. Further, he was always willing and responsive in making additions / adjustments, while also properly challenging us when perhaps an adjustment might have unwanted repercussions. Highly recommend anyone to work with Marcelo and Gonzalez Architects!
